HDMI audio not working on HD7950

Everything else is working fine, audio through usb too. Only the audio via HDMI is not working. I have Lilu and AppleALC installed. My card is the Sapphire HD7950

Hello, I have a fully working Hackintosh with Dual-Boot Win10 and macOS 10.14.2. The only thing that doesn't work is the HDMI audio from graphics card (HDMI audio from Motherboard works just fine), I have a GeForce RTX 2070. Is there any kext or workaround that adds HDMI audio support to any rtx 20xx?

Dear all,

I have an almost 100% working install of OSX High Sierra 10.13.6 on my HP 8200 ssf. This has a core i5 2400, Nvidia 1050ti and Realtek ALC261 HD audio.

I have graphics acceleration, CPU stepping and audio out of the internal speaker as well as the rear audio jack and can select which I want.

I don't yet have HDMI audi and while this is a nice to have I am having problems following the HDMi guide.

To save my working install I have created a brand new fresh install of High Sierra...

Confused about how to follow the HDMI audio guide.

Updated 07/3/2018. This solution works in High Sierra 10.13.6 as well as several previous versions of MacOS. I didn't create the tools I only figured out how to use them. Credit for the kext goes to andrejkw at macrumors. Your mileage may vary but this is the easiest solution I've found. I've used it for years & its worked for many others. Definitely worth a try.

Hi,

I have succeeded to install Mojave on my HYSTOU P06B i3; graphic acceleration, network and sound board (ALC892) work fine...but since few days I am trying to activate the HDMI audio...but without success. I try to flow the some threads but now I am a bit confuse. May your help me ? I join with my post an debug archive.




HYSTOU: P06B-i3-7100U
CPU: Intel Core i3-7100U Processor
Chipset Intel Kaby Lake single chip
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620
Net: Realtek RTL8168E PCI-E

Hi guys, I'm sorry to disturb you... i'm quite a noob, but starting from 0 i've been able to install Mojave on my Intel Nuc dc3217iye (i3 3217u, 8gb ram, 120gb Ssd). Intel HD4000 graphics works fine, Ethernet is ok, but i don't know how to set Audio (over hdmi)... before writing this post i've seen many posts, but some are old and some are... ehm, a bit difficult for me to understand. Anyone with my same hardware did it? Thank yo so much!

My build
Motherboard Gigabyte Z370N wifi
Processor i7 8700K 3.7 Ghz
Ram 32 Gb 2400 mhz
GPU Evga GTX 1080Ti

When I initially installed Mac OS X ,my HDMI audio was working, but my USB ports were not working.
So I installed the USB patch, and then my USB ports started working, but cdmi audio not working.(HDMI through GPU)

hi, after upgrading to mojave 10.14.3 hdmi audio is lost, only have headphones jack working using appleALC and fakepciid intel method, but...i noticed that if the computer boots up and the monitor ( LG TV ) is turned off and then after booting i turn the tv on everything goes fine: both audio hdmi and jack are present and work. hdmi hot unplug and plug back gives no result if tv is turned on before computer- only audio thru jack aux...any ideas thanks.

Hello! I have a t470P thinkpad i7 7700HQ. Audio is perfectly working with lilu and applealc. Problem is that I can't get minidp audio to work. To say the truth it worked once while spoofing to skylake gpu ids but it lasted one reboot. I don't really know what is going on, and i'll be glad if some one can help me. With fakepciid I don't have any audio at all. Attached debug info, ioreg with and without minidp.

Hi there,
gen_debug generated error reporting files attached.
The issue is HDMI audio problem AppleIntelFrameBuffer@2 connector-type seems 04, although it is injected 08 via Framebuffer patches.
ioreg recorded when tv attached at only one HDMI (micro) port. prior to attaching cable connector-type was 08.
Sound works on layout-id 0x1C on laptop monitor via AppleALC.
What should I do, can anyone help me?

So, the first time I did hackintosh, both were working, except the microphone, was impossible to fix it, so now I did again hackintosh, and now, HDMI audio works, mic works but the headset audio doesn't work so, please hope you can help me.

Hi.
I just installed mac OS High Sierra 10.13.15 on my Hp 8300 SFF version (i7_3770 - 16 Gb Ram - Nvidia GTX 1050 ti Lp - SSD 480 Gb)
Use a Full HD monitor with included speakers, which I connect to the computer with HDMI.
Install the Nvidia Grafica kexts, and more, everything works, the problem is that it does not let me control the volume of the system natively, I also install the latest version of VooDooHDA but although it appears installed in the settings, when I move the volume button...

How to control the audio natively in my Hackintosh?

Hi, I have an issue where on a computer I am building for customer where HDMI audio on Mac Mojave portion works only if you turn monitor off and on (you do have to have it on during boot to select OS, then once in OSX, turn off and on again). Everything is ok on Windows.
Motherboard is unknown (XCY mini computer), video is built in HD Graphics 6200, cpu is Kaby Lake i3-7200U. Everything works OOB except built in audio.

I'm on Mojave latest update. Using a 4k tv as monitor and about 40% of the time when I have to reboot the system comes up normally but the tv is not an audio option. A reboot always fixes it. Any idea what might be going on there?

Hello there. I'm new to hackintosh ,any help and suggestion is appreciated. My pc specs are i3 3220 , dh61bf intel motherboard , gtx 1050ti , 12gb ram.I have two HDD and I have installed win10pro on one and sierra on another following few guides.
The problem is I got kernel panic every single time , so i had to change system definition to 13,1 and select(check) all options like debug etc, only then it will boot without kernel panic . After booting though screen flickers before login. After...

Hi everyone,
I installed Lilu, WhateverGreen (I removed NvidiaGraphicsFixup), AppleALC and AirportBrcmFixup in /L/E (with KextBeast and after I used Kext Utility to repair permissions and rebuilding caches).
Now I have 4 output channel but they don't work. What can I do?
