Hi everyone! I can't figure out how to enable hdmi audio output from my newly created hackintosh.

PC components:

CPU: Intel i5 7400
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB
MOBO: MSI B250 PC MATE
RAM: 8 GB DDR4

Mac is configured as 14,2 , MacOS: 10.13.5

I used this guide right here then I installed Nvidia Web Drivers (latest version).

Hi guys, I am trying to get hdmi audio working on my rig but no success at this moment.I use hdmi connector with
PHL BDM3270.
Mobo:ga-z97x-gaming5, High Sierra 10.13.5,Bios:F7, processor:i5-4670k, graphic card:Nvidia gtx 770 2GB.Procedure,I downloaded the command audio-cloverHDMI-130-v0.8.command and I mounted EFI and run the command and answer y/n and reboot.I attached some files. Please help,thanks.

Hi Dears,

I had a failed attempt to install enable DP audio by placing (HDMIAudio.kext and SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml each in its respective folder) in EFI folder. However DP audio didn't work and I went and removed both files from EFI folder and restarted. However, now I see ATV_126 option under sound output which doesn't do anything. I searched some sites and this appeared to be something related to Apple TV?

Hey, I've recently built another hackintosh, and one of the issues I'm having now is trying to get the TV (Secondary display) to be detected for audio, but it's to no avail. I've tried to use all the guides I can get my hands on, and I have all the necessary Kexts. I also have 2 displays, a Samsung CF391 and an Element TV. Any help please?

I am having problems getting my DP audio working. I did have it working once, but at the time my video memory was not working and by the time I had sorted that out I had lost my DP and on board audio. I think now that I have tried so many methods that I have reached the stage I have messed something and it will not install now. As far as I can see in my config it should be working.

I just installed mac OS High Sierra 10.13.15 on my Hp 8300 SFF version (i7_3770 - 16 Gb Ram - Nvidia GTX 1050 ti Lp - SSD 480 Gb)
Use a Full HD monitor with included speakers, which I connect to the computer with HDMI.
Install the Nvidia Grafica kexts, and more, everything works, the problem is that it does not let me control the volume of the system natively, I also install the latest version of VooDooHDA but although it appears installed in the settings, when I move the volume button...

Resident HDMI Audio expert toleda has released a new script which automatically configures HDMI audio for most desktop systems with Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA graphics using Clover bootloader.

The new method, called CloverHDMI requires no DSDT edits. The script detects and installs correct ssdt(s) and Intel framebuffer patches for the connected HDMI display enabling OS X HDMI audio.

GT 1030 HDMI audio working but not everywhere

I'm using a GT 1030 2G with my HP 8300. As mentioned in the Guide to the Hp 8300 I installed VoodooHDA 2.9 and AppleHDADisabler.
HDMI audio is working so far. But some (not all) youtube videos and all videos in the fotos app have no sound over HDMI (analog is working).
I'm not sure if this is a Hackintosh or Mac OS problem.

Any suggestions what to do?

Please let me know how to rebuild kext cache for HDMI audio in clover uefi for high sierra 10.13.5. I have installed Voodoohda but being unsatisfied I have uninstalled it and in doing so lost the audio installed through Audio_cloverHDMI-130_V0.8 command in terminal. When i again installed it through terminal it says 'audio codec not found'.

After trying several methods to fix audio, I have come to the conclusion that VoodooHDA is the best way to fix it on my system cause it shows all the audio peripherals I have. The problem is that it also shows 4 "Digital-out (HDMI)" output devices when my GPU has just 2 HDMI ports. I just don't use HDMI output anyway and never plan on using it, so, is there a way I can hide/remove these HDMI audio out devices? I don't care if it removes my 2 real HDMI out devices too, in fact, I kinda want...

hi, I have my display and integrate audio working great, but HDMI-audio is not working no matter what I do. I have search for this and tried almost every solution out there. I have a 7th gen kabylake i5-7200u -intelHD 620- (its a Huawei Matebook-x)

I've lost the audio after upgrading the macOS, what's wrong? I have read the HDMI Audio thread for like 1 hour, but I can't figure out what I have to do for my hack to have sound again. I have even tried the #2 method (Clover kext patch) but no go :(

I successfully installed High Sierra on a NUC DC3217IYE mostly working after installation but now I'm stuck at getting the HDMI Audio to work. I am wondering if someone can point me to the right direction. I searched and tried some of the possible solution without any luck at getting it fixed.
